Commandant's log

I've reviewed the cell block preparations, as my first security assignment. I have to say that I'm pleased with the progress so far, looks like Tuvok kept everything in order around here. There's a report from the engineering, Chief Jones saying that all the work will be finished on time, and according to him, 2 cells have already been modified & tested. Engineering crew is working full-time to catch up with the schedule.
Of course, failure to meet the expectation is not an option, therefor everyone's instructed to help at all cost, and for now all the other projects are on hold. *END LOG*

Commandant Riker's personal log

Due to recent events, I've been asked to resume my old duty again, as the head of a security department. Tuvok left the colony for unspecified time, and until we can find someone experienced to take over his place, I'll be doing both jobs, as well as the council duties.
I'm also looking forward to restore my reputation, as some of the council members don't seem to trust me the same way, as they did before the incident.
Apart from few shift rotations & new assistants, I don't see any problems with it, in fact I'm looking forward the challenge. *END LOG*

Interrogation report

Interrogation report from Ensign Kssst H'Ress:

ANNIKA'S EYES ONLY!

If you enjoy having eyes, and aren't Annika, I'd suggest you stop reading.

Annika:

I've finished the interrogation of one of the prisoners, and I believed I've hit paydirt.

If what he said was to be believed- and trust me, I was quite thorough, so I believe it was, we managed by sheer chance to snag a Romulan spy.

Considering how long he held out, and what techniques I needed to use to finally crack him, I'm more than willing to believe he's a member of the Tal'Shiar- or whatever the Romulan intelligence organization in this universe is called. He certainly isn't an engineer as he purported.

Anyhow, here's the interesting thing: He wasn't here to spy on us, but the alliance- I've collated what info he had on them in a separate file if you're interested, but that wasn't the gold of this interrogation- rather its what the Romulans were up to.

Apparently, ever since the Alliance formed, they've been paranoid as hell they'd be next after the Terran Empire fell- and they've been scrambling like mad to get an edge... and they believe they've found one.

Its called a Thalaron bomb. Apparently, its near completion, the Romulans we picked up were one of thee several out picking up the final components, and it has enough destructive power to wipe out everything on a planet's surface- *and* render it uninhabitable for 50,000 years. They believe that with that weapon, the alliance would never dare invade them, as they could transform all the Alliance's planets into graveyards.

Its not a bad plan, but I don't want to trade one slavemaster for another, *and* I'd much rather *we* have such a weapon. I'd advise we create a small force to infiltrate and steal it as soon as possible- or at least, steal the plans and destroy the one they have.

H'Ress, Signing off.

Bio: Jenna Nigoya

Name: Jenna Lin Nigoya
Age: 107 years old/ 32 years if you ask
Race:  El-Aurian (if you ask her, she’s human)
Height: 5 ft 8 inches
Rank and Assignment: Captain, ISS Ares

History:
She keeps her race secretive as her people have been experimented on due to their longevity. She keeps most of her history before meeting and befriending Annika to herself. Much of it Annika doesn’t know.  She was an engineer and no one can pinpoint how long she’s been working with technology and ships. Don’t ask her, she won’t tell you.

She has no spouse, no children and has only met a handful of other El-Aurians in her life. She is very uncomfortable around the other universe characters, however she makes sure they are unaware of it, as she has other priorities. One other universe character that confuses her is Kala as she does not feel out of place.

If tested she would qualify as an Expert Marksmen, however considering she’s been firing a weapon longer than most of the others have been alive, that isn’t saying much. She knows the history of most of the ship development and many of the weapons, but don't ask her, unless you absolutely need the information.

The rest of her life is a mystery…

Bio: Ksst H'Resst

Name: Kssst H'Resst
Date of Birth: June 17, 2353
Race: Warcat
Height: 7'7"
Tail Length:
Weight: 322 lbs.
Fur: Light tan
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Brown
Rank: Lieutenant

Bio: As with all other Warcats, H'Ress was trained as a soldier from
a young age, H'Ress showed talent in torture and interrogation.
Reassigned to that department, she used her incresed access to hack
into the imperial computer systems to sate her hunger for knowledge.
She was careful enough to hide her tracks that her superiors were
unaware that she was teaching herself illicitly- until a 31 operative
noticed it while running an Audit on their computer system for another
purpose.  Realizing that someone capable of infiltrating a computer
system and covering her tracks so throughally without training was
a valuable resource, and introduces her into 31.

And the investment of including her into 31 pays off in spades:  She
proves incrediblly adpet at learning, mastering multiple subjects
easily, but proves to be most skilled in biology, medicine, genetics
and chemistry, she is assigned to bioweapons division.   She rapidly
rises in ranks in 31, and normal imperial ranks as well (though not
as high, so as to not draw suspicion for a nonhuman).  She is
eventually assigned to the ISS Montana to monitor the shakedown
cruise, as well as to monitor the new 31 agent, MACO Silverspot.
Unfortunatlly, during the shakedown cruise, the non-humanoids
formented rebellion, and her own attempts to infiltrate and sabotage
it were ironically, accidentally sabotaged by Silverspot in her
attempts to determine her loyalty, and was forced to flee the ship,
as noted in Silverspot's profile.

H'Ress, when not working, takes time ot maintain her physique, running
private experiments, and reading or otherwise expanding her knowledge.
H'Ress ultimatelly, is devoted to securing her own power, to enable
her to live in comfort and pursuit her own interests and pleasure.
Surprisingly, unlike most people with such goals, she is entirelly
willing to work hard for this objective, and more than willing to
support a larger organization to accheive it- which was the source
of her loyalty to the Empire.  As for her relationship with
Silverspot and Death Angel, she enjoys thier company, even prefers it,
but if she perceives them as a threat to herself, or her goals, she
would not hesitate in eliminating them.   Regret it, but not hesitate.

Huntress Log: Stardate 53016.5

Lead Huntress Personal Log:  January 7

The events of last night have taken their toll on Dingo.  He’s been sleeping for hours so I’m taking the opportunity to record my personal log.

I great many changes have taken place in the last few weeks.  It was only two weeks ago that Lt. Cmdr. Dingo and I were married after only knowing each other a few weeks.  I know to many, it seemed that it was rushed but I truly feel that this was the right thing for both of us.  Already I find in nearly impossible to see my life without him and wondering what I did before he became a part of it.

We have also adopted a tabby from Wexia, we have named him K’Ress and to our surprise he speaks fluent caitian.  It seems that his feline parents were killed when he was very young, he was then raised by a caitian couple, who in turn killed during an attack in by this universe’s Polar Caits.

While the Polar Caits of my home world are rare, I’ve learned that the Polar Caits of the universe are nearly extinct.  There are only rumors of any having survived.  It doesn’t surprise me at all after learning that there world has been ravaged for its resources and the inhabitants scattered to the wind.

The colony was attacked by the Borg less than a week ago.  Sadly we lost the Vorcha and many of the crew on board but thankfully Belana Torres was not among the casualties.

In an unrelated event, we have lost my dear friend Jenna.  The details are still unclear. It appears that she was on a mission for Annika at the time.  In a strange twist, since the Ares first officer was killed during the Borg attack, Dingo is now in command of the ship.  If this is to be temporary or permanent is yet to be determined.

The ranching operation is still under construction, it has been delayed by the Borg attack.  In the meantime, K’Ress and I are living on the Ares.

Something very unusual happened last night.  I was on the bridge with Dingo watching a lovely blue planetoid on the view screen when what I can only explain as a special anomaly appeared.  Shortly there after a ship that obviously did not belong here appeared, although Dingo appeared to recognize it.  Before we could react, Dingo was transported on board their ship, leaving the entire bridge crew and I stunned.  Just looking at the ship we were hopelessly outgunned.  The Ares was positively tiny in comparison.  In no way did that stop me from taking command and demanding that they return Dingo to us immediately.  I was about to open fire on them when he was returned but not alone.  Dingo had become one of the Caitians' arch rivals the Cainin.  It also seems that Nine has taken control of Dingo’s body.  I did not realize it at first and I nearly had Dingo thrown into the brig just for being on the Ares.  The momentary confusion was enough for Nine to make his escape off the ship.

I’m still trying to process the whole story and some of the facts are vague due to Nine’s interference but Dingo was able to explain some of it to me very late last night.  It seems that a group Cainins have traveled back in time from the 29th century stating that in their time, the Caits and Cainins are on the verge of extinction and that somehow Dingo and I are the key to the survival of both species.  One of their decorated heroes had died and was put into stasis for the trip back to our time.  His brain was removed and replaced with a positronic one. Which was then integrated into his biological system.  Dingo was somehow uploaded to this brain.  Meanwhile Nine managed to take control of Dingo’s body.

It took a little while for Dingo to learn how to work the new body worked and functioned, which of course Nine took full advantage off.  I was even fooled at first into believing he was Dingo but as soon as I heard my beloved Dingo’s voice coming from the Cainin, I knew not everything was as it appeared.

Dingo and I tried to stop Nine but he escaped in a shuttle with the dilithium crystals from the warp matrix.  We will be fine without them but it will take us a while to return home.  Something tells me we have not seen the last of Nine but I do hope that it will not be anytime soon.

Poor K’Ress had the same reaction to Dingo as I did last night when we returned to our quarters.  He once again proved that we have named him correctly.  Despite the great difference in size he had no fear in attacking Dingo when he first entered our quarters with me.  It took quite a bit of talking and reassuring to get our ‘Little Protector’ to understand and accept that this large wolf like creature is indeed the father that he has known.

When Dingo and I first married, I had accepted the fact that since he was an android that we would not be able to have children of our own and that there was a very real possibility that I would grow old and die long before he ever did.  But now that he is a biological being, everything has changed.  There is the possibility that we could have children of our own, although I’m not sure what they would be like given they would be both Cait and Cainin.  Would that perhaps make them Cait/Cains?   I suppose it is much too early to worry about all of this.

It is going to be very interesting to see how we (the entire colony included) adjust to all of these changes.

Bio: Silverspot

Name: Silverspot

Date of "Birth": May 7th, 2371 (rapidly-grown engineered/clone
organism: first-generation Chakamil; chronological age 12, physical
equivalent 26 [decanted at equiv. 14], -7 years temporal
displacement)
Race: Chakamil
Height: 5'2"
Body Length: 5'6"
Tail Length: 2'0"
Weight: 400lbs.
Fur: Black w/silver-gray spots
Hair: White
Eyes: Golden-green
Rank: Major (Military Assault Command Operations)

Bio:
Silverspot, like hir fellow officers H'Ress and Death Angel and their
android companion Cypher, comes from a parallel universe in which
Spock was executed for treason before ever instituting his reforms;
their Terran Empire was therefore never weakened to the point where
the Alpha Quadrant Alliance could conquer it.

One of the first Chakamil created by Imperial Secret Police Thirty-One
in response to the threat of the Jem'Hadar, Silverspot was put into
service in the Imperial MACO corp alongside the others of hir
generation almost immediately, after only a brief training period of a
few months to provide some practical experience beyond the virtual
learning shi was subjected to during maturation. A formidable soldier,
shi outlived most of hir colleagues, growing in knowledge and
experience until shi was put into a command position.

With the Dominion pushed back to the Gamma Quadrant and the Empire not
quite ready for a full invasion, in 2382 Silverspot (now a major) was
assigned to command of the MACO unit attached to the ISS Montana, a
new prototype vessel that was ultimately to be the vanguard of the
invasion force, if its shakedown cruise was successful. Shi was also
tasked by hir creators in Thirty-One with being their eyes and ears on
the ship, the first Chakamil honored with the position of a full-
fledged Thirty-One Operative. Unknown to hir, the ship's R&D officer
Lt. H'Ress was also a Thirty-One Operative, one who actually outranked
hir and was set to keep an eye on hir. In retrospect, shi realizes
that shi probably should have figured this out, from how H'Ress knew
the top-secret CKF formula (one of Thirty-One's biggest secrets,
intended to keep its Chakamil in line) well enough to engineer its
production into her own body....

In late 2383, following a mutiny aboard ISS Montana led by its Wing
Commander/Chaplain, the Battle-Priestess of Sivar, Commander Kherma
nar'Hhallas, Silverspot commandeered a Yellowstone-class runabout (ISS
Yosemite) and fled Montana along with H'Ress, the Chakamil CMO Dr.
Death Angel, and android Cypher Deedlit. A risky maneuver intended to
get some missiles off their tail, involving slingshotting around a
binary star, inadvertently hurtled the Yosemite 7 years into the past,
in a timeline where the Empire fell over a hundred years ago....
When not fighting or training, Silverspot enjoys surfing, taking
advantage of holographic recreation facilities when real beaches are
not available.  Shi favors simulations of Australian beaches over any
other Terran locations, claiming shi feels a connection to the
continent as the origins of the Chakat and Chakamil species are
there.

Shi is quite fond of H'Ress and Death Angel both, and would hate it
terribly if shi ever had to kill them.  Not that shi'd hesitate...
shi'd just hate having to do it. H'Ress has some measure of added
protection, however, due to the fact that her body is the source of
the CKF Spots needs.  Shi'd sooner keep H'Ress alive and imprisoned
than kill her, if it came to that.

Though shi is an expert marksman, Silverspot prefers close-quarters
combat whenever possible. Shi owns, and is quite good with, a
tritanium daisho (Japanese paired swords: katana and wakizashi), which
shi carries with hir at almost all times. Hir devotion to the Empire
(above any individual Emperor or Empress) is complete, and a part of
why shi was accepted as a full Thirty-One Operative: their purpose is
the preservation of the Empire itself, at all costs.

Major Silverspot Personal Log, Stardate 53005.8

Words cannot begin to describe how incredibly messed up the past 24 hours have been.

After the first response to our distress beacon, from Commodore Hernandez (@Commodore_Erika), turned out to be the result of cross-temporal miscommunication, we received what turned out to be a legitimate hail, from a vessel claiming the registry 'ISS Necrose,' captained by one Z'Crex (@ZCrex). We would later find out that its claim to an ISS registry is... spurious, at best, as the Warcat... excuse me, the Caitian captain is no Imperial officer, but a mercenary.

As the Necrose was still en route, a Galor-class Cardassian battle cruiser dropped out of warp, identifying itself as Aldara. H'Ress (@MU_HRess), Cypher (@MU_Cypher), and myself were beamed over, leaving Death Angel behind. The fresh air aboard the Aldara was a gift from Sivar, because we were all about to pass out - the air on Yosemite had gotten incredibly stale. The Cardassians attempted to forcibly escort us down to their medical quarters for experiments, claiming to have "never seen our ilk before." Cypher and H'Ress were sedated, but before I could be injected, I...

... my neglect in obtaining my CKF supplements from H'Ress proved useful. I fell into a rage, reinvigorated as I was by being able to breathe again, and overpowered our captors. Taking one of their disruptor rifles and setting it to overload, I transported it to what I assumed to be the engine room, then slung H'Ress and Cypher over my back and, with two more rifles, fought my way out of the transporter room. Z'Crex met me in the corridor, and we fought our way back to the shuttlebay, where he had a shuttlecraft waiting. He told me he had recovered our ship, and flew us back to the Necrose.

While Z'Crex finished off the Cardassians, I tended to Death Angel. Did all I could for hir... but shi really needs proper medical attention. Our host brought us some food, which we started to eat, begin to ask about each other. This is when he revealed to me that he's a mercenary... then, after he noticed my MACO patch, he apparently began swearing at me in Caitian. I couldn't understand a word of it, though H'Ress was able to explain that he seemed to have some hatred of Chakamil in general... why he didn't make the connection of what I am before seeing the MACO patch, I have no idea.

The two of them went off to talk alone. I was left with a disruptor turret pointed at me, for several minutes before he finally deactivated the damn thing, at which point I went back into the Yosemite to retrieve my swords and a rifle, and maybe see if I couldn't jury-rig something to get it running again. H'Ress came back to fetch a medical tricorder, and told me Z'Crex was dying, which wouldn't look good if we were here with him dead when his superiors showed up. No shit. She went off to treat him... I stayed here to record this log entry. I still don't know everything they talked about... if I learn more, guess I'll record a supplement.

End long entry.

Bio: Annika Hansen

Annika Hansen

Born: 2348
Age: 28

Adopted by the Ghemor family at each six after her family’s ship
crashed into Cardassian colony she was sent to the obsidian order at
age 7. She was told to train to be a good Cardassian. She spent the
next four years training for her first mission which she failed. She
was assigned to assassinate a Klingon dignitary and could not follow
through. that was the last mission she failed.

I roughly 16 years old she was assigned to spy on the Vulcan
resistance. At that time the target was a Vulcan engineer. He was
working on a  project for the resistance, rumors of the project
reached the obsidian order and they sent a top agent, Annika, to
handle the job. The assignment was to get as much intelligence on the
project as possible, then kill her source. After an undercover job is
to her  almost 2 yearsto complete, she left in love with her target.
She stabbed in the heart transported him to a sick bay or medical bay.
She stayed long enough to make sure he would be healthy and recover,
to the ninth with his heart cells on and went back to the obsidian
order.

2371 she met and befriended closely BElanna Torres.
In 2373 Annika served as a slave on terrok nor to the  intendant.
After pressure from the Cardassian government to better treat Annika,
the intendant sent her to the central mines in the sol star system.
They are she befriended a group of rebels. By late 2374 she returned
to terrok nor, she forced out intendant and took her place. As a
reward for her claim of dominance over Bajor on behalf of the
Cardassians, Annika was given a starship later deemed the ISS Voyager.
During her time as Intendant of Terrok Nor she met, befriended and
planned with Miles Smiley O’brien. Among their plans came the proposal
and development of a colony for the Terran Empire’s rebirth. The goal
was a militarized colony where humans and sub-humans can co-exist with
limited to no differences.  The moment she was given Voyager she flew
to the Sol System and freed the slaves who helped her while she was
there. Contacted her best friend and left for the Delta Quadrant
chosen because of the great distance from the Alliance.

Once here, Annika found other enemies such as the hirogen and the borg
were to close for comfort. She quickly requested the Alpha Quadrant
members include a star ship for their defense as well. She specified
some modifications stolen from another reality that had survived the
borg. Ares was built and designed to include the modifications. It is
currently the only borg modified ship in terran possession

Her commitment is to the success of the colony at any cost, and the
rebirth of the Terran Empire as the dominate control in the Milky
Way.
